Well, we have been *home* in Oklahoma for almost 24 hours now. It is good to be home. Nice to see my kids enjoying their grandparents. Jeff has worked for his Dad today and will tomorrow. Extra income right now is really helpful since Jeff is still not employed. Tomorrow my sister gets off at noon and we are planning to take my two kids and her three kids to the zoo. My mom plans to come help us with that endeavor.
The kids did well today in spite of the 3 hour sleep loss for traveling late last night. Eli did not sleep well either and since he is in our room, that means neither did we. I pray tonight will be better. We all need the sleep.

It's Amazing the Things He Does
Today we woke up and Eli had been awake but relatively quite. Abi comes in our room, Jeff is already getting ready for church, so I decide it must be time for me to get up too. Eli has just started yelling for me, so I sent Abi into his room while I put in my contacts.
Abi comes back "Mama he has made a MESS!" I hesitate, thinking the worst and at the same time knowing it is true.
I go into Eli's room. He's in his bed with his PJ's off. He has ripped his diaper down with the Velcro part still around his waist. There is poop everywhere! All over Eli, head to toe and all over the crib. I cleaned up the kid. Jeff cleaned up the crib.
Not what I expected to wake up to for sure!
