Today in church the children's choir sang "Were you there when they crucified my Lord?" Take a look. The voice you hear? Yep that's my Abi!

House For Sale, New Job, Move Immenant
So much has happened since I last blogged... ok so obviously an understatement since it has been nearly 2 months since I blogged. But in reality all the *news* has only come this past week really. So, here's the scoop.
2 Weeks ago tomorrow I flew to Oklahoma and interviewed at a university within 45 minutes of where all my and my husband's family lives. The interview was on a Friday with a follow up call from one of the university administration on Tuesday. An offer was made to me on Wednesday. I asked if there was any additional amount they could offer and they called back the following day with a $4,000 increase! I was elated and accepted the offer. I returned my contract via email on Wednesday and snail mail on Thursday. I turned in my resignation where I am on Monday and told all my colleagues and students today of my new offer.
As a result, we have a house to sell. It went on the market yesterday. The average time on the market for houses like ours here is 55 days. We worked feverishly to get it on the market by yesterday though, just in case there are those out there trying to make a decision by the end of April for tax credit purposes. For job purposes we need to be moved by August, so there isn't a true *rush*. But the sooner the better. I have to stay until June 20 to teach a summer class and for a recital for Abi. We have a friend here who has offered her spare bedroom if we need it.
