We are doing the 12 days of Christmas with our kids. Day 1 was Dec 3rd. Every other day they get a gift until Christmas day which would be Day 12. Then they get their 1 gift + stocking.
So, Dec 5th was Day 2 and the following conversation ensued with my nearly 5 year old.
"Today is the 2nd day of Christmas."
"I know Daddy told me."
"You have a gift to open at home"
"Is it 2 turtle Dougs?"
You can't make this stuff up!
