I know Abi is young, 4 years old. However, she has been asking a lot about heaven and how we get there lately. A couple days ago the following conversation took place.
"How does Jesus know when to take you?"
"He just knows because He is God."
"How do you get to go with Jesus?"
"When you die if Jesus is in your heart then He will take you to heaven. Is Jesus in your heart?"
"No."
"Do you want Him to be in your heart?"
"Yes."
Tonight Abi asked Jesus into her heart during our evening prayers. Jeff led her and I followed up at the end. Pray that we will keep cultivating in her a heart for the things of God. But for now too... Praise God for claiming our daughter's heart!
Yeah. That is awesome news. One of the best things about being a parent!
